Are my Dentist and Dental Hygiene Services (dental cleanings) Covered by my Dental Insurance?

Dental Services and preventative care services are covered under most dental plans. Contact your dental insurance provider for specific coverage details. Clean Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic is an independent dental clinic and can direct bill to your insurance company for services rendered. We can also pre-authorize your planned treatment, so there are no financial surprises at the end of your appointment. We welcome all of your questions!

Ask us anything regarding your dental coverage and we will try our best to help you.

Do I need my dentist’s permission to have dental hygiene services performed elsewhere?

You can choose to have your dental hygiene services from any registered dental hygienist. At Clean Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic, our independent registered dental hygienists are trained to recognize and assess any dental concerns that need to be addressed. We work synergistically with dentists and dental hygienists to achieve optimal oral health. We strive to provide preventative care to avoid any dental problems and work with our patients to maintain oral health.

You can choose to have your dental hygiene services done by one of our experienced and skilled dental hygienists and see your existing Dentist for any dental work that you might need. Or, if you would like to have any dental work done you can consider having and an exam done by the Dr. Haider. He is our Independent General Dentist available on site, and he will be happy to assist any of your dental needs.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had my teeth checked and cleaned, is it too late now?

At Clean Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic, we pride ourselves on being non-judgmental. We believe it is never too late to start working towards a healthier smile. We will assess your dentition and soft tissue health and guide you in the right direction. Our Dentist can take care of any dental work that needs to be done for optimal oral health, and then our registered dental hygienists make a dental hygiene plan (in our office and at your home) for you to maintain a clean and healthy smile. This will make sure you can maintain the healthy teeth throughout your life time.

What is the right age for kids to start oral assessment, preventative care/dental hygiene services?

We recommend that children commence receiving hygiene services at 2-3 years of age. It is always better to start early so that any dental issues can be detected and addressed sooner, rather than later. For young children, the first couple of visits is primarily for them to get to know us and get comfortable with our kid’s friendly environment. We love to work with kids and to assist them in creating healthy oral habits and maintaining healthy and clean smiles.

How often should I get a dental screening / dental cleaning done?

Generally, we recommend getting general dental screening/ dental cleaning done 2 times a year to obtain the best dental health. But in some cases, patients need to visit more frequently. People who have underlying health conditions, have periodontal disease or smoke most likely need to visit more frequently.

What can I do if I have dental anxiety?

At clean smiles, we love to hear our patients. We have compassionate, skilled, and experienced dentist and dental hygienists who can provide the best suited dental treatment by managing your dental anxiety. We are here to provide you with a free consultation session where you can discuss your fear and anxieties, and together, we can figure out the best-suited solution to get you the best dental care you need and deserve.
